We are two designers – Baiba Lindāne and Uģis Gailis who represent design studio MĀJO officially launched in October 2008. Creative work of MĀJO includes the recognition of the ancient Latvian folk traditions and the contemplating of today’s tradition, which altogether inspire to create things that visualize Lettic (Latvian) in a contemporary sense. These are emotions and sense what we want to pass on to users through our design things.

Dizaina studijā MĀJO esam divi dizaineri Baiba Lindāne un Uģis Gailis. Oficiālais darbības sākums ir 2008. gada oktobris.  MĀJO radošais darbs ietver latviešu tautas seno tradīciju apzināšanu un mūsdienu tradīciju vērošanu, kas iedvesmo radīt lietas, kuras vizualizē latvisko, mūsdienīgā izpratnē. Tās ir emocijas un sajūtas, kuras vēlamies nodot tālāk caur mūsu dizaina lietām.
